Black Families Technology Awareness Association will operate a low-power FM radio station. Part of KUAW's mission to is to inform the community on events, opportunities and education available to them locally.
The Black Family Technology Awareness Association (BFTAA) started KUAW, a low power FM and internet radio station to serve the local Kansas City community. KUAW will broadcast over the air from Front Street to 63rd and from Blue Ridge Blvd to Southwest Traffic way... and to the world online. Our station will reach approximately 3.5 miles from the broadcast location and zip codes 64106, 64110, 64111, 64127, 64128, 64129, 64130 and 64132.
