McFadden Brothers 18th and Vine Experience

The Metropolitan Collaborative for Fine Arts Development (McFad) works to highlight and preserve Kansas City's 18th and Vine Historic District Jazz Heritage and contribute to tourism development for the Greater KC Area. McFad's first offering is "The McFadden Brothers 18th & Vine Experience," an interactive, family-friendly, world class, Vegas-styled show that brings Kc jazz and the jazz guests to life in more than 100 shows/year.

18th Street Reimagined

Two students from Iowa State University worked with members of the KC community to redesign a 1.5 mile stretch of 18th street. We wanted to reimagine 18th street, and see how we could make it a better place to live, work and play. Our goal was to create a connection with the Crossroads Art District and the 18th and Vine Historic Jazz District.
