Operation Facelift and Neighborhood Block Party

(1) Operation Facelift: Neighborhood cleanup which involves coordination with various city departments, Sumner Academy, the KCK Housing Authority, Deffenbaugh and residents. This is an annual event. (2) DSNA Block Party: With the construction of new, infill housing and the changing population in the neighborhood, the association wants to reach out and have a block party that will not only include residents, but students, churches, and other stakeholders. We will bring in representatives from the police and fire departments, health department, etc., to provide important information to those attending.
