Mary L. Kelly Center

The Mary Kelly Center is in the heart of the Town Fork Creek neighborhood and serves both Town Fork Creek and Blue Hills residents. The facility includes a computer lab, a cafe, a conference room, a regulation size gym, a fitness room, a state of the art dance studio and The Charlie Parker Foundation dedicated to the history of Jazz in Kansas City. Because we never want finances to be a barrier to better health, which is our goal, the is no fee for any of our programs or services

The Upper Room is also home to the Town Fork Creek neighborhood association office, a full scale catering operation, and FREE GED program. For more information about catering and GED services please contact Vicki Hancock at (816) 363-3819.

Membership to the Mary Kelly Center is based on credits earned for service to the center, otherwise known as time banking. Members will volunteer a certain number of hours per month to assist with center operation and programming and in return will be allowed to enjoy all of the center's amenities at no cost.

Space available to rent include the gym, the dance studio, and the conference room. Pricing and availability may be inquired about with the center receptionist located on the 2nd floor in the administration office.
