(1) Operation Facelift: Neighborhood cleanup which involves coordination with various city departments, Sumner Academy, the KCK Housing Authority, Deffenbaugh and residents. This is an annual event. (2) DSNA Block Party: With the construction of new, infill housing and the changing population in the neighborhood, the association wants to reach out and have a block party that will not only include residents, but students, churches, and other stakeholders.
