Quindaro Blvd. Corridor Coalition (QBCC) (10th to 27th Streets) began in February 2014 in response to crime in the area. A partnership between KCKS PD, business owner, churches, and the NE Economic Development Corporation Inc. formed. The result has been decreased crime, familiarity between the police force and the community, and other neighborhoods asking for support. Our goal is to have QBCC and police plan a community gathering to bring all NE residents together to get to know one another.
