I Need a Sidewalk!

The Rosedale area of Kansas City, Kansas is a known recreation desert with high rates of childhood obesity. By getting more sidewalks to more children and families, we hope to make Rosedale a healthier place for all who live, work, and play here.

Neighbors are coming together to raise money for a crucial section of sidewalk, on 42nd Avenue between Lloyd and Booker. The sidewalk is in the Hilltop Neighborhood and is a major walking route for Frank Rushton Elementary Students. The Unified Government has committed $100,000 to the cause and if the neighborhoods can raise $37,000 additional we can build the sidewalk in 2015.
