Pendleton Heights Community Garden

The Pendleton Heights Community Garden launched in Spring of 2013 and continues to grow every year! This project is in partnership with PHNA, Kansas City Community Gardens, and MU Extension. The garden occupies a long-vacant parcel at Brooklyn and Minnie in the heart of the neighborhood. Plots in the garden are available for lease to residents for personal gardening or residents can work in community plots in exchange for a share of the harvest.

All PH residents can enjoy produce from the garden. Come by during during weekly work times, meet some neighbors, and take home some yummy vegetables! We just ask for a small donation in return.

Please DO NOT pick produce yourself. The garden includes a combination of private and public plots and the assigned harvesters know best what and when to pick. The harvesters work hard to provide fresh produce each week.
